Skillnet Offshore Wind Academy is Ireland’s dedicated national training initiative for offshore wind. Co-funded by Skillnet Ireland and backed by industry partners, we deliver high-impact, industry-informed training, designed to upskill workers across the offshore wind value chain. Ireland has committed to generating37GW of offshore wind energy by 2050, requiring a skilled workforce which creates opportunities for professionals in sectors like onshore wind, construction, oil and gas, and marine to transition with the right training and support.

We bridge the skills gap by providing accessible, accredited training which is tailored to industry needs. These compact and flexible micro-credentials provide professionals in complementary sectors with the knowledge to transition into offshore wind energy, while accumulating credits towards valuable recognised qualifications.
